Tijdens het idfa documentaire festival heb ik slechts een documentaire gezien. Duurde beetje lang, zaal zat voor geen meter, maar muziek was mooi en sfeer van de jaren 30 20e eeuw muziek studio was indrukwekkend. Ook altijd leuk om intrinsiek gemotiveerde mensen te zien (zowel in het publiek als de filmmaker tijdens vragenmoment achteraf).

In American Epic Sessions treden onder ander de volgende artiesten op: Elton John, Nas, Willie Nelson, Alabama Shakes, Steve Martin, Ana Gabriel, Merle Haggard, Taj Mahal and many more.

At the idfa documentary festival I saw just one documetary. Its length was a bit to much, since the seats were not comfortable. But the music was great. So was the impression of the 1930 recording studio that was simulated in the documentary. Also nice to see some intrinsic motivated people, the audience and the filmmaker, during the question answer session afterwards the film. American Epic Sessions features live performances from Elton John, Nas, Willie Nelson, Alabama Shakes, Steve Martin, Ana Gabriel, Merle Haggard, Taj Mahal and many more.
