Dezarie vs Lana Del Ray

Toen ik een tijdje luisterde naar de zangeres Dezarie (zie vorig blog) deed haar stem mij opeens denken aan het dromerige stemgeluid van Lana Del Rey. Ze lijken een beetje op elkaar kwa stemgeluid soms. Misschien niet heel gek; Dezarie komt van de Maagden eilanden VS en Lana del Rey is ook van de VS. Beide misschien beetje reggae geinspireerd. Hoe dan ook Lana heeft iets met thema zwart en wit, als je naar onderstaand muziek clip kijkt van Lana - National Anthem.

When listning to Dezarie (see previous blog post) it suddenly remind me of an other great singer, Lana Del Rey. Both have a dreamy sound. And look like eachother a bit sometimes in there voice. Maybe not that strange when you realise they both are from the USA. Dezarie from the Virgin Islands and Lana from the USA but Lana is maybe some reggae inspired to. Or she has something with black and white so to speak, if you see below music clip of National Anthem.
